Médea Váczy
Médea understands the demands of fast pace life and is passionate about helping people build a strong and healthy body and mind.
From a young age, Médea had a keen interest in discovering the possibilities of movement and became a Vinyasa Flow yoga teacher in 2014. Through the years she pursued her passion to understand the musculoskeletal system, deepening her knowledge and nurturing her practice.
After noticing an increase in back pain in her clients, Médea completed her Yoga Therapy for Back Problems with osteopath and yoga therapist Anna Blackmore in 2019. The course allowed Médea to gain a deeper understanding of human anatomy, as well as identify signs and symptoms associated with back pain. To assist with back pain rehabilitation Médea added Trapez Yoga Training in 2021, allowing individuals to experience weightless exercise.
In addition to her yoga qualifications, Médea is a qualified Level 5 Sports Massage therapist and enjoys providing pain relief for her clients. She has also trained as an Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Therapist with James Winstanley (student of Master Kusum Modak, the creator of Ayurvedic Yoga Massage) graduating in 2019.
Médea’s health journey has not stopped there. She consistently strives to develop her knowledge to keep improving her practice for the benefit of her clients and has a love for life.
